The Rules.
The rules of the Calamnius Association can be provided by the chairman or the secretary on request. Note! The rules officially exist only in Finnish, but on request a short translation can be made.
This is a short description of the main contents of the rules concerning membership:
- The Board can approve membership of a person descending from Petrus Michaelis Arctophilacius, and also family members of that person. Note, if we cannot find you in our genealogical databases, you will have to prove the required relation to Petrus Michaelis Arctophilacius.
- A written query on membership has to be forwarded to the Board for approvement. Your appliance will be acted on at the next Board meeting. If a member wants to terminate his or her membership, this has to be announced in writing to the Board or to the chairman, or alternatively to the Family Reunion Meeting to be noted in the meeting document. The Board has the right to expel a member for reasons mentioned in the rules.
