The resigning and the new Board wants to express their thank you to all of you who participated in our 60th anniversary meeting in Helsinki with this document.

Calamnius-sukuseura ry. (Family Association) was founded in 1950 in Kokkola and Kalajoki. The Board can approve membership to all descendants of Petrus Michaelis Arctophilacius and their family members.

On our pages you can find information on our family history as well as information on past and present events.

The Board has decided to send information in the future exclusively by email, starting in 2009 and stabilating this practice after the anniversary meeting in 2010, We therefore urge all our members to inform our secretary about valid email addresses as soon as possible!

This christmas letter to our members, will be the final letter in paper style. Starting 2010 all our information distribution to our members will be by electronical means. Our member letters will be published on our website at www.calamnius.fi under memberletters, and only sent as paperletters to those members that inform us that they have no means of receiving electronical letters. However, the final program for our upcoming celebrations in july 2010, will be mailed traditionally by paperletters in february 2010.
